Out here the patio is a second living room. A good one drains after a summer storm, stays level on sandy ground, and looks right next to the house, the pool, and the cage. World Class builds them in concrete and in pavers.
Concrete patios
A poured concrete patio suits grilling, seating, and a dining table. It goes down in one pour, so the project is quick once the forms and base are ready.
One customer planned a 12 by 13 patio. James explained the minimum ready-mix order and suggested 14 by 13 for the same price, so they ended up with more patio at no extra cost.
Paver pool decks and lanais
Pool decks have to shed water fast and stay level around the pool shell. The crew lays pavers with a slope for drainage, and past decks include trench drains and dark charcoal borders around turquoise water.
Past decks run from gray and white to tan and cream to red and brown blends. Each color is picked to suit the house.

Working around a screened pool cage
A cage limits access, so James walks the site first and plans how materials and the crew get in. One customer has a gray paver patio wrapping the outside of the cage, with a clean area for the pool equipment.
Not sure whether you need a deck, a patio, or both? Where the slope runs and what the HOA allows will shape the plan.
- Concrete patio pads
- Paver patios with fire pits
- Pool decks and borders
- Walkways to the lanai
- Patios beside a screened cage
Permits and HOA sign-off
Many Tampa HOAs want architectural approval before a patio or deck goes in. One customer credited James with knowing how to prepare the HOA proposal for their patio.
Some jobs also need a city or county permit. He keeps you informed on where it stands and schedules the crew once it clears. Call (813) 938-0930 or send the form for a free estimate.
Questions about patios & pool decks
Can you build a deck around an existing pool?
Yes. Past jobs include pavers around a rectangular pool, trench drains at the edges, and borders that frame the water. James visits the site, measures, and plans the slope so rain runs away from the pool.
How big should my patio be?
Often bigger than first drawn. Concrete is ordered in minimum loads, so a slightly larger slab can cost the same as a smaller one, as one customer found. James checks this at the estimate.
Do you clean up after the job?
Yes. Customers mention the crew cleaning up after concrete patios and leaving the yard in good shape. Ask James about protecting the lawn and landscaping when you book your free estimate.
