North of Tampa, on the county line
Lutz sits north of Tampa along US 41 and Dale Mabry, straddling the Hillsborough and Pasco county line. The drive from the Tampa base is about 21 minutes via I-275 and US 41.
Lakes, bigger lots and horse properties set it apart from the suburbs closer in. The gated Cheval community is here too, and the small-town Fourth of July parade is the event most locals know.
Longer driveways, bigger slabs
More land means longer driveways, circular drives and wide parking areas. A concrete or paver driveway can run from the road all the way back to the house. Drainage is part of every long pour, so the slope is set before the forms go in.
Large lots also leave room for big patios, pool decks and slabs for sheds, workshops or equipment. Retaining walls handle grade changes where a yard slopes toward a lake.

Which county issues your permit?
That depends on which side of the Hillsborough and Pasco line your property falls on. Check your parcel record or tax bill and tell James at the estimate. He guides you to the right process.
Gated communities such as Cheval may have their own approval steps first. Sandy soil and heavy summer storms apply, so slope and base prep matter on a big pad where water has a long way to run. A French drain can handle a low spot.
Walk the property with James
Call (813) 938-0930 or send the form. James comes out, walks the property, and gives you a free estimate. If the county line runs near your lot, he helps sort out which county applies.
On big lots he plans how the equipment gets in so the lawn stays in good shape. The crew builds the base, pours or sets the pavers, and cleans up. Hours are Monday to Friday 7 AM to 6 PM and Saturday 8 AM to 3 PM.
Lutz questions
How do I know whether Pasco or Hillsborough handles my Lutz permit?
It depends on which side of the county line your property sits. Your tax bill or parcel record shows the county. Tell James at the free estimate and he will guide you through the right process.
Can you pour a long driveway on a large Lutz lot?
Yes. Long and circular driveways, wide parking areas and big patios are regular work. James measures the whole run at the free estimate and plans how equipment gets in so the lawn stays in good shape.
